Bob's Gun Collection
Kel-Tec P3AT

380 ACP
6/12/04

An awesome little concealed carry gun. Some will argue 380 is not enough caliber. I'm sure it will do more than sting. Due to it's size this one is a handful to shoot at the range. Almost needs a glove.
S+W Sigma 9

9 MM
1/7/08

First aquisition in a long time after the big D. Boy it felt good to wrap my hands around a new weapon. This one is Smith and Wesson Semi Auto called their SIGMA model. Inexpensive but still a good shooter. 9mm that holds 16 in the mag and one in the chamber.
Taurus Millenium Pro

40 S&W
7/10/04

A nice inexensive self defense gun. Lifetime warranty with a lot of safety features. Trigger pull is extremely long making the gun hard for me to shoot well but for the money I can't complain.
Beretta NEOS U22

.22 LR
7/10/04

A great little 22 target pistol that shoots cheap long rifle ammo. With the red dot scope, little recoil and the smaller diameter grip I can shoot day with very few misses.
FN Five Seven

5.7 x 28
3/23/05

Full Size polymer gun built for the Belgium police. The round looks like a small rifle round with a small bullet traveling at very high velocity. The pistol comes with three 20 round magazine so you know this one is on the government's list to try and ban for civilian use. In the meantime it's a great gun to shoot with adjustable sights and very low recoil due to the light bullet.
Sig P220

.45 ACP
4/28/04

This was my second gun. It's a high quality gun with smooth actions and absolutely no rough edges, just as Sig is famous for. I added the Crimson Trace laser grips as this one stays loaded in the safe as my primary home defense gun.
Les Baer Premier

45 ACP
4/28/04

My leap into the custom 1911 game. I didn't really care for the 1911 style gun until I owned one. I read so much about their accuracy I had to try it for myself. Les Baer is one of a handful of custom pistolsmiths that hand assemble and fit every gun by hand. Mine has extra fitting that guarantees 1" groups at 50 yards which is incredible for a hand gun. Too bad I can't shoot anywhere near well enough to match this gun. Fit and finish is incredible with toleramces so tight disassembly is a real job. With a 3 pound trigger I shoot this better than any handgun I've ever shot.
Smith & Wesson 500

.50 Magnum
2/19/05

This is the Mac Daddy of all revolvers, The Big Smith. 50 Caliber and big handful to shoot but ALOT of fun to watch milk jugs just disintegrate. 2600 Foot Pounds at the receiving end of a 400 gr. bullet! Also special about this gun is it is one of the first 100 shipped with the High Viz fiber optic sight.

See what it does to a milk jug.

Or a TV!

LONG GUNS

Beemans Hunters Special

.177
1/23/05

Great pellet gun for backyard fun. With the 4x40 scope accuracy is excellent out to about 15 yards. Wood and fit finish is very impressive for the price. Break barrel single pump cocking that's a little hard for my 14 year old but it needs that spring for the 650 fps. I would like to see a little lighter trigger, it takes some getting use to for a smooth pull.
Winchester Pellet

.177
1/23/05

A nice 800 fps pellet gun I picked up on close out from a local sporting goods store. Big spring requires lots of break barrel cocking effort but overall a good shooter. As with most air guns trigger action could be better but do your part and this gun will too. The wood is very nice for the price range. I still struggle finding a decent scope for it.
Remington Nylon 66

22 LR
1/23/05

My first gun my dad gave me as a kid. Semi Automatic 15 shot fill up the stock with 22 long rifle and bang bang bang all day. There are some interesting growing up stories this gun could tell that I would rather it not! It shows it's age with chips and scratches but still shoots great with the only trouble being the first round feed jams after each reload.
Remington Nylon 66 Apache

22 LR
1/23/05

I bought this one for the right price and with the tags still on it I don't believe it's ever been shot. I estimate it about 35 years old. Plus it was just like my first gun except the Apache model which is black nylon and chrome. Sharp gun and I doubt I will ever have the heart to shoot it.
Ruger 10/22

22LR
1/23/05

My first long gun purchase. A real classic in a 40th Anniversary Special Edition. Shoots really sweet and I've added the auto bolt release and extended magazine release. Sitting on top is a Leupold 2-7x40 Hunters scope that is extremely bright for accurate plinking.
Mossberg Silver Reserve

12 Gauge
1/23/05

I recently took up Sporting Clays and without a shotgun renting them got expensive. This is my first entry in the shotgun world so for clays I opted for a classic over and under 12 gauge. This is an inexpensive entry level gun made by Mossberg. That is evident by the fit and finish in some places but it does come with extractors, barrel selector and some nice engraving. You won't mistake it for a Perazzi or Kreighoff but for my moeny it's doing just great.
Wilson Combat UT-15

.223 Remington
4/16/05

This is the Wilson Combat version of the AR15. The AR15 is the semi-automatic version of the military M16. Wilson Combat hand assembles each gun they sell for near perfect fit and finish. I got the quad rail for attaching all the accessories, the ArmorTuff finish and dual 30 round mags. Sitting on top is a Nikon 3-9x40 scope and I also have the detachable carry handle, forward assist handle and Wilson flip up rear sight.
